Position Title: Senior Director, Head -AMS Verification vertical
Location: Bengaluru
Position Overview: The Practice Head for the AMS Verification vertical will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the verification practice within the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in AMS verification methodologies, a strong leadership capability, and a proven track record in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the AMS Verification vertical, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and inspire a team of AMS verification engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and technologies in AMS verification to maintain a competitive edge.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AMS verification projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and testing, to ensure seamless project execution and integration.
- Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding AMS verification services, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional business.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the AMS verification team, ensuring they are up to date with the latest AMS verification methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Drive the development and implementation of advanced verification capabilities within the company.
- Resource Management:
- Manage the recruitment, development, and retention of top AMS talent.
- Ensure the team is adequately resourced and equipped to meet current and future project demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 7+ years in mixed-signal verification
- Proven track record of leading and managing verification teams and projects.
- Deep understanding of AMS verification methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with client engagement and business development is a plus.
