Conduct diagnostic cardiology tests including electrocardiograms, phonocardiograms, echocardiograms, and stress tests using appropriate electronic equipment.
Ensure patient comfort by addressing questions and explaining procedures before and during testing.
Record and document test results accurately, coordinating with the physician on duty to schedule follow-up tests when needed.
Assist physicians during non-invasive cardiology procedures by monitoring patient heart rates and reporting abnormal readings promptly.
Maintain cardiology equipment through daily cleaning, calibration, and necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functioning.
Track inventory levels of cardiology supplies and replenish the storeroom as required.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to supervisors for timely resolution.
Stay informed about advancements in cardiology by attending relevant conferences and participating in research-related activities.
Support high-quality patient care within the cardiology unit through effective communication and adherence to clinical standards.
