Key Responsibilities EV Vehicle Diagnostics & Field Support
- Lead end-to-end diagnostics of EV trucks across factory, new product introduction (NPI), on-road operations, and customer sites, covering critical systems such as VCU, BMS, MCU, EBS, BCM, TCU, and related controllers.
- Conduct on-site investigations and resolve complex vehicle issues, including travel to field locations to support deployed vehicles and service teams when required.
- Perform in-depth data analysis of field vehicles using diagnostic tools, CAN logs, telematics data, fault codes, and performance parameters to identify root causes of failures.
- Execute calibration and validation of critical vehicle parameters based on real-world operating conditions and field performance.
- Debug, isolate, and resolve software, calibration, and system integration issues observed in field vehicles.
- Carry out bench-level and vehicle-level testing to reproduce field issues and validate corrective actions prior to deployment.
- Support software releases by validating bug fixes, ensuring field readiness, and maintaining software and calibration version traceability.
- Document field issues, diagnostic methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions for internal stakeholders and service teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing innovative diagnostic methods, tools, and process enhancements based on field learnings.
- Continuously learn, evaluate, and apply emerging diagnostic technologies, tools, and communication protocols relevant to EV systems and field service.
