Senior Associate DevOps Assistant (Grade 2)

Location: Gurugram

Job Summary:

The Senior Associate DevOps Assistant (Grade 2) supports the DevOps team in automating, streamlining, and enhancing the development and deployment pipelines. This role involves assisting in managing infrastructure, automating software deployment, and contributing to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. You will also assist with monitoring, incident response, and working with cloud infrastructure to maintain system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Help manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Support the automation of system administration tasks, including patching, backups, and scaling.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and rollback mechanisms.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for infrastructure and software deployment issues.
• Assist in improving security and performance of the infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations and operational processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Shell scripting).Understanding of version control (Git) and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Good communication and collaboration skills with a keen interest in learning.
