About the RolePinnacle Seven is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Lead who brings strong Azure cloud expertise along with deep hands-on experience in Databricks. This role will support cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and AI-driven solutions. The candidate should also have leadership experience and strong communication skills to work with global stakeholders.
Databricks Platform- Deploy, manage, and optimize Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, and workflows.
- Manage Databricks security, access controls, and data governance (Unity Catalog preferred).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows.
- Monitor Databricks workloads and optimize performance and cost.
- Support data engineering and AI/ML teams using Databricks.
DevOps & Leadership- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for applications and data platforms.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Cursor to improve development and DevOps productivity.
- Monitor systems, handle incidents, and lead root cause analysis.
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, plan work, and review outputs.
- Communicate effectively with overseas clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience- 6-10 years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (mandatory).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Good understanding of Linux, networking, monitoring, and security.
- Exposure to AI/ML and data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven team leadership experience.
Good to Have- Azure or Databricks certifications
- AWS Management exposure
- Overseas / onsite / international project experience
- Experience in enterprise-scale or data-intensive platforms
