The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, containerizing applications with Docker, and orchestrating them via Kubernetes (preferably EKS).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and EKS, along with proficiency in Python for automation and SQL-based systems for data integration. You will play a key role in implementing infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform), ensuring system reliability, security, and high availability.
Exposure to observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, along with experience in microservices architecture, will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Work on Azure cloud services (AKS, Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage)
Deploy and manage containerized applications via Docker & Kubernetes (AKS)
Automate workflows using Python
Integrate and optimize SQL databases (Azure SQL/Postgres)
Implement DevOps best practices including monitoring, scaling, and security
Must-Have Skills
Strong Azure experience
CI/CD using GitHub Actions
Docker + Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
Python development skills
SQL expertise
Nice To Have Skills
Azure DevOps (optional, since GitHub Actions is primary)
Terraform / Bicep
Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
Soft Skills
Excellent communication, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Work Timings
High degree of overlap with EST Time zone (3 PM to 12 AM IST)
