Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud services, automation, and monitoring of large-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and application deployment for Magento/PHP-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automate operations tasks including deployments, CI/CD pipelines, security updates, and system configuration using Bash, Ansible, Docker, and Terraform.
- Deploy and maintain Magento/PHP applications in cloud environments with optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes/EKS.
- Monitor application performance and infrastructure health using Prometheus/Grafana, New Relic, and other monitoring tools.
- Maintain databases and caching solutions including MySQL, PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, Redis, and Elastic Cache.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD.
- Ensure security best practices for cloud infrastructure using AWS WAF, Shield, and other security tools.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application deployments and troubleshooting at scale.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (Route53, CloudFront, S3, ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, Elastic Cache, ELB, OpenSearch, WAF & Shield)
- Automation & DevOps Tools: Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ArgoCD
- Databases & Messaging: MySQL, PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, Redis, Kafka
- Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus/Grafana, New Relic
- Application Expertise: Magento and PHP-based applications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud and application environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing cloud-native applications at scale.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
