IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in our New Age department, specifically in the Information Technology, Engineering, and CX & Digital Channels teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems for IDFC FIRST Bank's digital banking platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the digital banking industry and make recommendations for improvement
- Mentor and train junior developers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of database management and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Parameters
- Experience with digital banking platforms and technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of mobile application development is a plus
- Experience with cloud computing and DevOps is a plus
