Senior Designer - Instrumentation

KBR is seeking a Senior Designer Instrumentation to lead instrumentation design activities and support onshore and offshore projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instrumentation design, strong leadership skills, and expertise in design tools and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of instrumentation designers as an Area Lead
• Develop and manage instrumentation design deliverables across project phases
• Perform instrument modeling using E3D (AVEVA Everything3D) and S3D (Smart 3D)
• Ensure all instrumentation designs meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements
• Prepare and review instrument datasheets, material requisitions, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration and clash-free models
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and team members

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or allied engineering discipline
• 1216 years of relevant experience in instrumentation design
• Prior experience as an Area Lead or leading instrumentation designers
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation design deliverables and documentation
• Proficiency in SPI (System, P&ID, and Instrumentation) is mandatory
• Hands-on experience with E3D and S3D for instrument modeling
