Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Design Verification Engineer to join our hardware development team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in high-speed interface protocols such as PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet, and will lead verification efforts for cutting-edge SoC and IP designs. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on verification skills, and a passion for quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the verification strategy, planning, and execution for complex SoC/IP blocks involving PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet interfaces.
• Architect and develop scalable testbenches using SystemVerilog/UVM.
• Define and implement verification methodologies, coverage models, and assertion-based verification.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, and firmware teams to ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
• Drive bug triage, root cause analysis, and resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and guide junior verification engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
• Own and deliver high-quality verification sign-off metrics including functional coverage, code coverage, and formal results.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in design verification of complex digital systems.
• Strong expertise in PCIe (Gen3/Gen4/Gen5), DDR (DDR3/DDR4/DDR5), and Ethernet (1G/10G/25G/100G).
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl).
• Experience with simulation tools (VCS, Questa, Incisive) and formal verification tools.
• Solid understanding of protocol specifications, timing diagrams, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
