Senior Design Manager

An ideal candidate would have knowledge of CAD software, preferably Advanced Steel and SolidWorks, and experience in Steel Structure Design, as well as team management.

We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to head our drafting and 3D modelling function, bringing strong expertise in Advance Steel and SolidWorks. This leadership role requires guiding a team, delivering complex designs, and collaborating closely with the pre-sales and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the drafting/design team.
• Oversee FRP (composite) structure modelling using Advance Steel and SolidWorks.
• Guide technical decisions on connections and fabrication.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely project delivery.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

• Excellent steel/FRP drafting and detailing knowledge.
• Strong understanding of structure connections and manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Good time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Experience across the design to detailing, and fabrication lifecycle.
• Exposure to manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D and Revit.
• Good to have 710 years of experience in Advance Steel and SolidWorks.
