Key Responsibilities:
Design Management Delivery
- Lead end-to-end design management for medium to large infrastructure and aviation projects.
- Plan, manage, and monitor design deliverables across all project stages (concept to IFC/GFC).
- Ensure alignment of design outputs with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Manage design interfaces across multiple disciplines to ensure coordinated outputs.
Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, MEP, systems, and specialist design teams.
- Lead design coordination meetings and interface workshops.
- Resolve design clashes, scope gaps, and interface risks proactively.
- Ensure timely inputs and outputs across internal and external stakeholders.
Quality and Standards Compliance
- Ensure design compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Implement Ramboll quality management processes and design reviews.
- Manage design risk registers and mitigation measures.
- Oversee design change control and documentation management.
Stakeholder and Client Engagement
- Act as the primary design interface with clients, authorities, and partner organisations.
- Support client presentations, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Coordinate responses to authority comments and design approvals.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Leadership and Team Management
- Provide leadership to design managers, discipline leads, and design coordinators.
- Mentor team members in design management best practices.
- Review and approve key deliverables prior to issue.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
Commercial and Business Support
- Lead proposals, scope definition, methodology, and fee inputs.
- Assist Project Directors with resource planning and programme management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and innovation initiatives.
- Promote sustainable and value-led design consistent with Ramboll values.
