- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 25 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D modeling, simulation, and drawing generation.
- Demonstrated experience in creating GA drawings, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of BOM preparation, revision control, and data management.
- Experience with prototyping processes and physical testing of mechanical components.
- Solid knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fish-bone, FMEA).
- In-depth familiarity with BIS and ISO standards relevant to mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into practical designs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in agile or lean manufacturing environments is a plus.
