Manage large assemblies in CAD; create and review manufacturing drawings (Form-Fit-Function), assembly drawings, and BOM creation.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to define fabrication plans for new products.
Design component packaging and refrigeration tubing layouts using CAD.
Apply knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and standards.
Provide design support for New Product Development (NPD) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) projects.
Support scheduling of critical tasks and deliverables; lead brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to meet product market specifications.
Create and review Project Charter, Project Plan, and Risk Mitigation Plans; conduct frequent reviews with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Product Management to define product market specifications for refrigerated doors and frames; finalize Product Requirements (PRD) from Market Requirements (MRD).
Optimize existing product costs using VAVE methodology.
