Senior Design Engineer- II

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large CAD assemblies and create/review manufacturing drawings (Form-Fit-Function), assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to define fabrication plans for new products.
• Design component packaging, refrigeration tubing layouts, and sheet metal structures following industry standards.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and VAVE projects, providing innovative solutions to meet product-market specifications.
• Create and review project charters, project plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Product Management to finalize Product Requirements (PRD) from Market Requirements (MRD).
• Optimize existing product costs using VAVE methodology.
• Lead structural sheet metal design projects, including composite materials where applicable.
• Provide technical guidance and design support across cross-functional teams.
