Senior Design Engineer HVAC

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of HVAC systems, water supply, drainage, firefighting, ventilation, and other mechanical systems.
• Perform heat load and cooling load calculations using IES and other relevant software.
• Conduct ventilation calculations, water supply sizing, and drainage calculations.
• Calculate pressure drops for ducts and pipes; equipment capacity sizing and selection.
• Carry out MEP coordination and checking.
• Certify layout and model in Revit/CAD.
• Ensure safety and security system installations comply with standards.
• Develop complex designs, drawings, and calculations with minimal guidance.
• Prepare Design Basis Reports and design Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (CAV and VAV) solutions for buildings.
• Use calculation software such as IES, TEKNOsim, Hevacomp, Trane/Trace 700, HAP, and BSim.
• Use 3D design software including Revit, MagiCad, with optional experience in Navisworks and Solibri.
• Work in compliance with regional and international standards (Middle East, UK, Nordics).
• Provide mechanical design expertise for sectors including office, residential, commercial, sports facilities, healthcare facilities, and hotels.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, support team collaboration, and ensure timely delivery of project tasks.
