Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Senior Piping Designer for a 6‑month direct contract role based in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of offshore and/or ARAMCO project exposure. Strong expertise in S3D modeling, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and piping isometric extraction and checking is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D piping models using Smart 3D (S3D)
- Prepare, extract, and check piping isometrics, GA drawings, and spool drawings
- Perform pipe support modeling, detailing, and checking
- Execute 2D drafting using AutoCAD (ACAD) and MicroStation
- Ensure compliance with ARAMCO standards, project specifications, and industry codes
- Coordinate with stress, civil, structural, mechanical, and process disciplines
- Identify and resolve piping design issues during project execution
- Guide and technically support junior designers
- Deliver quality outputs within project schedules for offshore EPC projects
Mandatory Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Piping Design (Oil & Gas / EPC)
- Minimum 5 years of Offshore and/or ARAMCO project experience
- Hands-on expertise in Smart 3D (S3D)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Proven experience in piping isometric extraction, checking, and pipe supports
- Good knowledge of ARAMCO standards and specifications
