Coordinate with clients, vendors, and other disciplines, including participation in meetings and decision-making.
Apply technical knowledge in electrical system design, system studies, electrical packages, hazardous area classification, installation contracts, substation layouts, motor schematics, cable schedules, and interfaces with mechanical packages.
Use ETAP or SKM software for design analysis.
Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
Participate in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
Review vendor documentation for compliance with project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze and provide independent recommendations for solutions to engineering problems of varying complexity.
Perform effort-hour estimating, staff forecasting, and ensure practical field execution.
