Senior Design Engineer

The role we're currently hiring for is that of a Design Engineer.

We're looking for someone who is very strong in fundamentals of structural analysis and has hands-on experience or exposure to:

Education-- BE/BTECH --CIVIL + MTECH (Structural)

• Steel structure design
• Loads from piping, HVAC, cable trays and cable ladders
• Wind and earthquake loads
• Lifting and construction-stage analysis

So, this is a core engineering role, where concepts and judgment really matter.

This role sits under Hilti's Installation Systems product line.

In simple terms, Installation Systems are modular steel support systems—such as open channels and box girders—used to create secondary supports for:

• Pipes
• HVAC ducts
• Cable trays and ladders
• Integrated floor and MEP support systems

These systems are used across all industries—from oil & gas and power plants to airports, metros, hospitals, and data centers.

Our engineers at VE Hub work on live international projects.

You'll be supporting Project Management Offices (PMOs) across the globe—Europe, Middle East, Americas, and Asia—by:

• Designing optimized support structures
• Providing value-engineered solutions using Hilti products
• Performing calculations using PROFIS MSE and RSTAB

This role requires you also to support Business Developers, where your calculations help demonstrate the value proposition—how Hilti systems reduce steel tonnage, installation time, or overall project cost.

So, it's not just design—it's engineering with commercial impact.

Typically, after a few years as a Design Engineer, depending upon their Aspiration, Ability and Availability people may have opportunities to move to roles like :

• Project Management
• Product Management
• Technical Marketing
• And advanced and high-end FEA and R&D roles

Technical Engineer-1 --1.5--5 yrs (Steel structure design, STAAD/ETAB)

Technical Engineer -2 --6-9 yrs (Steel structure design, STAAD/ETAB and oil and gas)
