Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer responsible for designing industrial products using SolidWorks. This role involves product design and detailing activities under the guidance of a Technical Lead or Manager.
Responsibilities
- Design 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Apply principles of plastic and sheet metal design during product development.
- Create configurable product designs using SolidWorks Configurations and Design Tables.
- Conduct stress, structural, and failure analysis with SolidWorks.
- Support component-level and system-level mechanical design activities.
- Coordinate with customers to provide project updates and resolve technical queries.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, quality records, and lessons learned.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks for modeling, assembly, detailing, and product configurations.
- Experience in the design and development of plastic and sheet metal components.
- Understanding of assembly sequence planning and BOM development.
- Solid understanding of fabrication, welding, and machining processes.
- Knowledge of product packaging and shipment processes.
- Good understanding of DFM, DFA, and DFMA principles.
- Experience in Windchill for design data and revision management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and maintain professional communication.

- Ability to present technical progress and solutions effectively.
Work Environment
This role involves working in a collaborative environment, utilizing SolidWorks and other design tools. The position requires maintaining professional communication with team members and clients, and ensuring high-quality documentation and project tracking. The work schedule is standard office hours, and the dress code is business casual.
