Qualifications

Extensive expertise in database development, with a strong focus on SQL and database design principles
Proven experience in leading database development projects and mentoring junior developers
In-depth knowledge of database administration tools, backup and recovery processes, and database security measures
Proficiency in optimizing queries, creating advanced stored procedures, and implementing effective indexing strategies
Experience with various database technologies, including but not limited to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions, such as Amazon RDS or Azure SQL Database
Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing database-related challenges
