About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to build and scale next-generation voice bot / conversational AI systems. You will work on real-world problems involving speech recognition, natural language understanding, LLMs, and real-time AI pipelines. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys building production-grade AI systems, not just experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end voice bot systems (VAD STT LLM TTS pipelines)
- Build and optimize real-time conversational AI systems
- Work with streaming ASR (speech-to-text) and TTS systems
- Develop and fine-tune LLM-based workflows for dialogue management
- Improve latency, accuracy, and scalability of AI systems
- Handle audio data processing, feature extraction, and model integration
- Collaborate with backend teams to deploy models via APIs / WebSockets
- Monitor and improve production systems using metrics and feedback loops
- Experiment with new models (ASR, LLMs, speaker verification, etc.)
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with:
- NLP / Speech / Audio ML systems
- LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, open-source models, etc.)
- Deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
- Experience with real-time systems / streaming pipelines
- Good understanding of:
- ASR / TTS systems
- Model deployment (FastAPI, Docker, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Good to Have
- Experience with voice bots / call center AI / telephony systems
- Knowledge of VAD, diarization, speaker verification
- Experience with WebRTC / WebSockets / audio streaming
- Exposure to low-latency system design
- Experience with vLLM or LLM serving frameworks
