As a
Score card Implementation consultant (Credit risk) , you will bridge the gap between Data & Analytics (D&A) models and production-ready financial solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of credit scorecards and decisioning frameworks, transforming complex analytical models into scalable, high-performance Microservices. Working within Equifax's sophisticated technical ecosystem, you will ensure that risk models are integrated seamlessly into our cloud-hosted rule engines, providing real-time credit insights to our global clients.
What You Will Do
- Translate statistical scorecards and risk models developed by D&A into executable code within a Java-based implementation platform.
- Design and develop resilient, scalable Microservices using Spring Boot to host credit scoring logic and rule engines.
- Build and manage secure API proxies in APIGEE, ensuring seamless integration between legacy financial systems and modern cloud architectures.
- Spearhead the digital transformation of scoring applications by deploying and managing services on Cloud Platforms (GCP).
- Own the security posture of credit-sensitive APIs by implementing 2FA/Okta integrations and maintaining rigorous code quality via Fortify and SonarQube.
- Partner with business stakeholders and data scientists to influence product roadmaps and refine the technical specifications of credit products.
What Experience You Need
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development & Analytical tool sets, with a heavy focus on Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Proven track record in the Financial Services domain, specifically in designing or maintaining proprietary Credit Scoring Products.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and Python for understanding or migrating analytical model logic.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns using tools like APIGEE.
- A Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering with a strong academic record

- Experience in implementing complex business logic or rule engines within a CI/CD pipeline.
- Advanced Data Tools: Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Oracle and search engines like Elastic Search for high-speed data indexing.
