Job Description Senior Data Scientist
Location Bangalore(initial travel to Pune for few months) Job Type Full Time
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with hands-on experience in developing AI/ GenAI solutions, and strong expertise in leading AI tools and packages. The candidate must be proficient in designing and deploying AI models, applying GenAI techniques, and implementing DevOps/MLOps practices to ensure scalable and reliable deployment.
Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into AI/ML solutions; assess feasibility
- Build ML/DL models for prediction, automation, and decision support
- Apply supervised, unsupervised & prescriptive analytics techniques
- Develop & fine-tune GenAI applications (LLMs, multimodal systems)
- Deploy models on Azure with scalable, monitored pipelines
- Implement MLOps/DevOps (CI/CD, automated training & deployment)
- Evaluate models (metrics, tuning, reliability, fairness)
- Collaborate cross-functionally; mentor junior team members
Must-Have Qualifications
- 6+ years experience with Engineering/Postgraduate degree
- Strong portfolio of AI/ML projects (predictive maintenance, optimization, real-time systems)
- Experience in GenAI applications (LLMs, copilots, automated reports, multimodal AI)
- Strong Python skills (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face)
- Expertise in Computer Vision (defect detection, anomaly detection)
- Data engineering & preprocessing (ETL, feature engineering, data quality)
- Experience handling multimodal data (text, images, video)
- Hands-on MLOps (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes
- Surrogate Models strong understanding or working experience
- Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
