Senior Data Engineer

Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)

Experience: 8+ years

Work Timings: 2:00PM to 11:00PM

Location:Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience with relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
• 3–5 years of experience with ETL tools (Informatica preferred)
• Solid experience in both on-premise and cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud or MPP databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Oozie)
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy)
• Exposure to other ETL tools (Pentaho, DataStage, Apache Hop)
• AI-Powered Development: Proven ability to effectively leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot,
• Amazon Q) to accelerate coding, perform automated code reviews, generate documentation, and
• explore design alternatives.
• AI Mentorship & Driving Adoption: Experience in mentoring engineering teams to integrate AI
• assistants into their daily development workflows to increase velocity and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and Pentaho for Snowflake and Postgres systems
• Work closely with analytics and business teams to turn requirements into scalable, reliable data flows
• Support data modeling, performance tuning, and architecture improvements across environments
• Contribute to process automation, best practices, and documentation to improve team efficiency
• Comfortable collaborating across technical and business team
