Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern cloud data technologies and visualization tools and will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Azure Data Fabric.
- Perform advanced data cleaning, transformation, and integration using Python.
- Develop and optimize data models for data warehousing to support analytics and reporting.
- Create interactive and insightful dashboards and reports in PowerBI for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data analysts, business teams, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the data lifecycle.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing data processes for performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with strong ETL and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in Snowflake (architecture, SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Experience with Azure Data Fabric for data integration and orchestration.
- Strong Python programming skills, especially for data cleaning, transformation, and pipeline automation.
- Expertise in building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and modern data architecture.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable working in UK business hours.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of other Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage).
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines.
- Experience in agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
