About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, DBT, Python, and modern cloud-based data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility for analytics and business teams. This role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows using SQL, DBT, Python, and AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain data models, transformations, and orchestration workflows.
  • Work with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other data platforms to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Git-based versioning, and data deployment workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity across all data layers.
  • Work with AWS data services: S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, and other relevant technologies.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience in data engineering/analytics engineering roles.
  • Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, or DBT are a plus.
  • Strong SQL expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • DBT (Data Build Tool) data modeling, transformations, tests, documentation.
  • Python for ETL/ELT, scripting, and automation.
  • AWS data services: S3, Lambda, Step Functions (and related tools).
  • Snowflake data warehousing, performance tuning, and best practices.
  • Git & CI/CD practices for version control and automated deployments.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
