Strategic Data Engineering & ETL Development
- Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Synapse, MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and scalability, anticipating future requirements and potential challenges.
- Advanced Data Modeling & Reporting
- Lead the creation of robust, reusable, and efficient data models to support enterprise-level analytics.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions across business units.
- Establish best practices, standards, and methodologies for modeling, version control
- Business Partnership & Analytics Leadership
- Collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to define KPIs, business logic, and analytic requirements.
- Act as a trusted data advisor, guiding stakeholders on innovative uses reporting solutions.
- Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure strict adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and advanced analytics solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, introducing innovations that improve efficiency and insight delivery.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer working with the Microsoft stack (e.g., Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, ETL, Databricks, MS Fabric)
- Coding expertise in SQL, Spark SQL, familiarity with Python
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
