This Role Involves
Build and optimize data warehouses and data marts in Snowflake, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and data quality.
Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using dbt(Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling
Architect and implement cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure Key Vault, Event Hubs, etc.)
Manage and deploy data platform components using Helm charts on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform code using GitHub Actions, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and rollback capabilities
Collaborate using GitHub for version control, code reviews, pull request workflows, and branching strategies
Monitor data pipeline health, SLAs, and data quality using observability tooling
Implement data governance best practices including lineage tracking, schema management, and access controls
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal engineering standards and documentation

As a Dev Lead You Will

Install, configure and test product; problem investigation; database configuration, tracing and performance analysis.
Provide advanced technical expertise in debugging and maintain software applications and work cross functional team to resolve issues.
Experience Required In
8+ years of experience in data engineering role.
Build and optimize data warehouses and data marts in Snowflake, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and data quality.
Strong proficiency with Snowflake (warehouses, snow pipe, clustering, dynamic tables, cost monitoring, RBAC).
Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure data services and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with streaming pipelines (Mqueue, Kafka, Azure Event Hubs).
Proficiency in Python and/or SQL for data processing and pipeline development.
Experience writing and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
Strong command of CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions (workflows, secrets management, environment promotion).
Fluency with Git and GitHub (branching, PRs, code reviews, GitHub Packages/Releases).
Leverage GitHub Copilot as a daily productivity tool across data pipeline development, dbt modeling, infrastructure code, and testing.
Knowledge on AI-powered data agents and pipelines using LangChain and LangGraph.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal engineering standards and documentation.
Partner with cross-functional teams — Dev, QA, L4, Infra, Downstream/Upstream systems and Business — to drive problem resolution and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Take full ownership of production incidents, driving swift diagnosis, resolution, and root cause analysis.
