We're Hiring: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Mumbai | Hyderabad | Pune

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Work Model: Hybrid (WFO Mon, Wed, Fri)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, build, and evolution of our in-house data platforms. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and application teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions that power BI and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Design

• Analyze internal and external raw data to create BI & Advanced Analytics datasets
• Design and evolve data pipelines, data marts, and data models
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data warehouse standards
• Define and execute data migration strategies to Snowflake-based platforms

Engineering

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines & platforms
• Perform regular data housekeeping and quality checks
• Develop data solution prototypes and analytical tooling
• Execute database-to-warehouse migrations
• Champion data engineering best practices and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• AWS Data Engineer Specialty or AWS Solution Architect Associate (Certified)
• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification (Mandatory)
• 5+ years hands-on Snowflake experience
• 7+ years overall experience in Data Engineering (Financial domain preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ETL, Data Warehousing, BI (Qlik), Advanced Analytics
• Experience with AWS (RDS, Fargate, Glue)
• Databases: Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
