Role Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of data platforms and pipelines. You will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and application teams to deliver high-quality, scalable datasets and BI/Advanced Analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design

Analyze raw internal & external data to create BI and Advanced Analytics datasets

Design scalable data pipelines for data warehouse ingestion

Build data marts to support business & IT consumption

Define and implement data model enhancements

Plan and execute migration from legacy systems to the new data warehouse

Engineer

Perform regular data housekeeping & optimize data storage

Build and maintain robust data pipelines & platforms

Develop prototypes for new data solutions

Improve data quality, reliability & discover better data sources

Build analytical tooling to enhance BI & advanced analytics capabilities

Execute end-to-end data migration activities

Champion data engineering standards & best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline

AWS Certified Data Engineer Specialty or Solution Architect Associate

Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification mandatory

5+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake

7+ years of Data Engineering experience (financial domain preferred)

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe / Scrum / Kanban)

Expertise in ETL, Data Warehousing, BI (Qlik), and Advanced Analytics

Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS RDS, AWS Fargate, etc.)

Hands-on experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL

Strong programming knowledge Java and/or Java

Practical experience with ETL tools like AWS Glue

Excellent analytical, critical-thinking & communication skills
