Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Power BI, data transformation, and data modeling, along with hands-on experience in MSBI and SSIS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using AWS services
- Perform complex data transformation and integration from multiple source systems
- Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics use cases
- Build, optimize, and manage ETL/ELT workflows using MSBI SSIS
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring performance and accuracy
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance where required
- Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice implementation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on data engineering
- Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Athena, etc.)
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX and performance tuning
- Solid experience in data transformation and data modeling (dimensional and relational models)
- Extensive experience with MSBI stack, especially SSIS
- Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of database concepts
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and performance optimization
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data processing
- Experience in cloud migration or modernization projects
- Certification in AWS or Power BI
