Senior Data Engineer

We are in search of strong Senior Data Engineer(Experience 8-12 years) who is technically passionate, solution-focused, and able to contribute to design, development, test automation and hardening (security, stability, deployment) of our in-house-developed components.

As a Data Engineer you will:

Design and implement complex new functionality with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and large data sets.
Influence technology choices and architecture of newly built components and services.

• Should be aware of ETL development and various stages of ETL pipeline.
• Must be very good with SQL, able to write complex queries, stored procedures.
• Must be good with database and should be able to do data analysis.
• You must have hands-on programming experience and should be good with the use of Java or Python.
• Understanding and experience on BigQuery, Looker.
• Understanding and/or experience on DBT (Database build tool).
• Familiarity & hands-on experience with git, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of GCP, ETL integration with GCP or Azure/AWS or other cloud provider.

This role requires engineers to interpret business requirements with the Product Owner and Feature Engineer during the refinement sessions, break down stories into the tasks, estimate the Story Points to develop, test and harden a feature with your colleagues, and deliver and support it on the production environment to our global users.
