Job Purpose
Being part of the Data team, the individual will work on key data engineering, analytics, and platform development initiatives to evolve the enterprise data stack to its future state, enabling the business to derive deeper insights, improve decision-making, and drive sustainable profitability at a lower cost.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Enhance enterprise data and analytics platforms to improve customer insight, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Design, implement, and maintain centralized customer data solutions to consolidate and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) customer and business data into analytical platforms.
- Collaborate closely with business, product, technology, and operations stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical and functional solutions.
- Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to query, transform, and integrate data across disparate systems.
- Conduct data quality assessments and drive data cleansing, validation, and enrichment initiatives to improve accuracy and usability.
- Support reporting, analytics, and insight generation by enabling consistent, trusted, and well-structured data foundations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering, analytics, and customer data management to drive continuous improvement.________________________________________

- Understanding Bajaj Finance business & various product offers as each business has unique challenges that needs support from IT team for enabling solutions for carrying out day-2-day operations
- Understanding data and distribution model, so the right pipelines are designed for business to make right decisions and leverage the right data for customer/prospect communications
- Understanding platform stack, channels, and operations in order to enable omni-channel orchestration capabilities
Required Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience (4 years+) working with technology platforms (Any Lending, Collection, Data Management, Service) preferably in a similar industry.
Basic Knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
Hands-on experience with ADF (Azure Data Factory) or similar ETL tools for data integration and workflow orchestration.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with data governance principles and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
