THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer AWS with expertise in Amazon-native data platforms. You will design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data systems on AWS, enabling AI-driven workflows and Agentic Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect data pipelines and analytics platforms on AWS (EMR, Glue, Redshift, Athena).
• Implement streaming and real-time workflows with Kinesis, Kafka, and Lambda.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT frameworks using Glue and AWS Step Functions.
• Manage data lakes (S3, Lake Formation) and ensure cost-efficient scaling.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to deliver training data and inference-ready datasets.
• Implement monitoring, security, and governance aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 58 years of data engineering with 3+ years AWS-specific experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis).
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java/Scala, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Terraform/CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with AI pipelines, vector databases, and agentic workloads is a plus.
• AWS Data Analytics Specialty or Solutions Architect certification preferred.
