Senior Data Center Engineer / Data Center Operations Lead

RedSwitches Pte Ltd is looking for a highly skilledSenior Data Center Engineer / Operations Leadto manage and scale our global data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server hardware, networking, monitoring, redundancy planning, and hands-on data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 24/7 mutilple data center operations ensuring high availability and SLA compliance.
- Plan and execute upgrades for servers, networking (10G100G), storage (NVMe/RAID), and rack infrastructure.
- Monitor performance using Zabbix/Prometheus/Grafana and ensure proactive alerting.
- Collaborate with Network, DevOps, and Security teams for scalable infrastructure deployment.
- Manage vendors, procurement, RMAs, and hardware lifecycle.
- Maintain SOPs, rack diagrams, asset inventories, and ITIL-based processes.
- Lead and mentor DC engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
- 47+ years in data center/infrastructure operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers, RAID, NVMe, iDRAC/iLO/IPMI.
- Solid networking knowledge (L2/L3, VLANs, routing basics).
- Linux administration skills and experience with monitoring tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and leadership abilities.
Preferred:
- Automation (Ansible/Python), virtualization (Proxmox/KVM/VMware), ISO/SOC/GDPR familiarity, EVPN/VXLAN exposure
