Job Description:
- Role Overview: Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality dashboards and reporting platforms.
- Data Extraction & Transformation: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for extracting and transforming data from large datasets across relational and cloud-based databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
- Data Visualization: Build, optimize, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools to enable deep analytics and insights.
- Python & Automation: Utilize Python (and ML techniques where applicable) for data manipulation, automation of reporting processes, and integration with analytics platforms.
- Reporting Performance & Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve reporting system performance, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and high efficiency.
- Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users to gather analytics requirements, define KPIs, and design actionable reporting solutions.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Document reporting processes, data flows, and user guidelines for seamless team knowledge sharing and system sustainability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices in data analytics, and new features in reporting tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Domain Knowledge (Optional but Preferred): Exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, or quality reporting, along with familiarity with SAP, SFDC, or Camstar reporting applications.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, preferably in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Skills: SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), cloud databases (Snowflake, BigQuery), data visualization, data manipulation, automation, exploratory data analysis (EDA), dashboard development, reporting optimization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, detail-oriented, proactive in continuous improvement.
