Senior Data Analyst

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in T-SQL/PL-SQL, data platform management, and reporting tools, along with experience in database administration and performance tuning. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Write complex queries using T-SQL / PL-SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using modern reporting platforms (Power BI, SSRS, etc.).
• Manage and maintain the data platform to ensure availability, accuracy, and security.
• Support database administration tasks including backups, restores, access management, and monitoring.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries and databases to ensure optimal response times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting systems.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• T-SQL / PL-SQL Advanced query writing and stored procedure development.
• Reporting Platforms Experience with tools like Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, etc.
• Data Platform Management Knowledge of modern data ecosystems (SQL Server, Oracle, Azure Data Services, etc.).
• Database Administration Proficient in handling database maintenance, security, and monitoring.
• Performance Tuning Strong understanding of optimizing SQL queries and database performance.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based data services (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
• Understanding of data governance and compliance
