Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can turn complex data into actionable insights and guide data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong statistical expertise, hands-on programming skills, and deep experience with Google Cloud data tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced data analysis using statistical and machine-learning techniques
- Design, build, and optimize analytical datasets using SQL and BigQuery
- Apply statistical modeling and hypothesis testing using R, Python, and SciPy
- Develop predictive and descriptive models using TensorFlow and Python libraries
- Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions
- Create dashboards, reports, and insights for executive and operational stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across datasets
- Mentor junior analysts and review analytical work for quality and accuracy
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with R, SciPy, and statistical analysis techniques
- Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools:
- BigQuery
- TensorFlow
- Google Datalab / Notebooks
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with ML pipelines and model deployment
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Prior experience in cloud-native or AI-driven environments
