Job Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of insurance data models, specifically Guidewire and Duckcreek, to interpret and analyze complex data structures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data models align with business needs and analytical requirements.
- Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Implement data enrichment processes to enhance datasets, providing deeper insights and more reliable analyses.
- Conduct thorough data profiling to assess data quality and identify potential issues affecting analysis.
- Generate comprehensive reports on data characteristics, anomalies, and trends to inform data governance and strategy.
- Utilize SQL, NoSQL, Neo 4J to query and manipulate databases, ensuring effective data retrieval and analysis.
- Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database performance and support analytical needs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics and insurance.
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance technical skills and analytical methodologies.
Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data analyses
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in an information technology/computer science/Statistics/ Economics or equivalent fields experience.
- Proficiency in Guidewire and Duckcreek data models, including an understanding of insurance industry practices.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong skills in data cleaning techniques and enrichment methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes for data integration.
- Familiarity with data profiling tools and techniques to assess data quality.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Advanced SQL, NoSQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
