Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Analyst with 78 years of experience in data analysis, data reconciliation, and business reporting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, Python, and Excel, with a strong background in reconciliation of financial, transactional, or operational data. This role will be crucial in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data reconciliation across systems, ensuring consistency between source and target datasets (e.g., transactional, inventory, order, or financial data).
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Use Python for automating reconciliation processes, Web development for business needs.
- Leverage Excel for detailed data reviews, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards.
- Work closely with stakeholders from Finance, Operations and Product teams to identify data issues, needs and improve workflows.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and VBA (optional).
- Experience working with large datasets, relational databases.
- Ability to translate business questions into data queries and actionable insights.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies.
- Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
- Worked in ERP/WMS
