We are looking for a
Senior Data Analyst who can turn complex business data into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and measurable business impact. The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on experience with data tools, and the ability to partner closely with business, product, sales, operations, and leadership teams.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, building dashboards, identifying trends, solving ambiguous business problems, and influencing decision-making through data-backed insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business, product, sales, operations, and leadership teams to understand data requirements and business priorities.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations for business tracking and leadership reviews.
- Define, track, and improve key business metrics across functions.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to solve business problems and support strategic decision-making.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and data-driven insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports and dashboards.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Partner with data engineering or tech teams to improve data pipelines, data availability, and reporting structures.
- Present insights and recommendations in a clear, structured, and business-friendly manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, product analytics, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with BI/dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase, Redash, or similar tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with data analysis using Python or R is preferred.
- Strong understanding of business metrics, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and performance tracking.
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in edtech, SaaS, consumer internet, marketplace, fintech, or high-growth startups.
- Experience working with product, sales, marketing, or operations analytics.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, A/B testing, or forecasting.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
