Senior Data Analyst
About the Role: The Analyst would be working with multiple stakeholders across the globe on execution (implementation, validation & audit) of Pricing migration strategies and revenue management for Strategic customers of our client and continuously monitoring to maintain revenue quality. Leveraging advanced data analysis techniques, the analyst will extract valuable insights from extensive datasets to inform strategic decision-making. The Analyst should have good exposure to commercial aspects of business, RFP & contract management, process management/ transformation, developing analytical solutions to business problems, reporting, MIS, creating business case/ presentations for executive management. Should possess and demonstrate understanding of core Business and Commercial concepts including financial metrics, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of discount structures and the seamless transition to Pricing systems.
- Gain extensive knowledge of pricing processes, relevant tools, and systems.
- Assist in developing data-driven strategies and recommendations for business decisions.
- Transform, optimize Pricing processes for improved efficiency, reduced turnaround times and human intervention through process automation.
- The person should be able to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and various regional pricing teams across the geographies to meet critical timelines for bid pricing, associated tasks & initiatives, while ensuring process compliance & meeting audit requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer needs, RFP requirements, and competitive landscape to optimize profitability and win rates.
- Identify relevant KPIs / metrics for business performance and develop dashboard/ reports.
- Design, document, and implement comprehensive policies and procedures for pricing analysis and approval processes.
- Develop and oversee robust internal controls and compliance frameworks to mitigate revenue leakage risks.
- Take ownership and accountability for end-to-end deal execution; coordinate/ partner with cross functional teams globally and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate effectively (Stakeholder Management) with team members across different regions to achieve common goals, effective communication skills to communicate with people across all levels including senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Business analytics/Quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Must have - Demonstrated expertise in Python, SQL, and Advanced Excel with exposure to any visualization tools (PowerBI, Spotfire, tableau etc).
- Good to have: Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Experience in developing creative and impactful PowerPoint presentations using Canva/PowerPoint.
