Job Description

We are looking for Customer Support Engineer !

You'll make a difference by:

  • Responsible for reproducing, troubleshooting Customer Problem Statements on SIMATIC DCS systems (PCS 7 & PCS neo)
  • The work involves Handling Escalations and Support on SIMATIC DCS systems (PCS 7 & PCS neo)
  • Set up the test environments in Lab for different types of Customer Problem Statements, which involves configuration of the products under test.
  • In Addition, responsible for usage of diagnostic tools and related applications for troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for writing bug reports and verifying them after fixes.
  • Involves in interacting with Business Partners and Customers for technical clarifications.
  • Involves Technical content preparation for trainings, Online Workshops, Virtual Class-room trainings.
  • Conduct training sessions for our products as needed.
  • Your unique perspectives and contributions will be vital in achieving our organization's goals and vision.

You'd describe yourself as:

  • Graduate BE - Electrical, Electronics & Communications or Instrumentation Engineering with 5 to 10 years of total experience in Industrial Automation.
  • Worked on PCS7 & PCS neo
  • Worked on Redundant PLCs / Failsafe configurations.
  • Worked on SCADA HMI (in-depth knowledge)
  • Hands on working exp on continuous and sequential control logics.
  • Hands on working exp on field devices.
  • Knowledge of communication interfaces like MPI, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge on Product Testing
  • Commissioning experience of process plants (Batch applications) is additional advantage.
