Role Overview – Credit Analyst / Senior Credit Executive

This role is focused on credit underwriting and risk assessment within a commercial vehicle / EV leasing portfolio. The incumbent will evaluate credit proposals, assess borrower risk, and support transaction structuring aligned with asset-backed lending models.

The position requires strong expertise in cash-flow based lending, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end credit appraisal and underwriting for commercial vehicle and fleet operators
• Perform detailed cash-flow analysis, including DSCR evaluation and financial assessment
• Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal notes and recommendations
• Structure lending transactions considering asset life, residual value, and operational risks
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
• Perform stress testing and risk analysis on existing portfolios
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and policy teams to strengthen credit frameworks
• Support implementation of digital lending systems, scorecards, and underwriting tools
• Provide inputs for new product development, ensuring risk considerations are embedded

Eligibility / Requirements (Mandates)

• 6–10 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in commercial vehicle, fleet, or asset-backed lending
• Strong expertise in cash-flow based lending and credit risk assessment
• Prior experience with NBFCs, banks, leasing firms, or fintech lenders
• Proven ability in credit structuring and appraisal documentation
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
• Ability to balance risk management with business growth objectives
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments

Preferred Background

• Exposure to electric vehicles, mobility, logistics, or transportation financing
• Experience in evaluating operating asset risks and fleet economics
