Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Counselor based in Mumbai. The Senior Counselor will work closely with students to understand their education and career aspirations and provide expert guidance to match them with suitable international study opportunities. Responsibilities include advising on courses, universities, application procedures, and scholarships, as well as assisting with visa processes and post-arrival planning. The role requires building strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to company ethics.
- Proficiency in Student Counselling, Career Guidance, and understanding of international education pathways
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for effectively interacting with students and parents
- Organizational skills for managing applications, deadlines, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or knowledge in Visa Processing, Admission Procedures, and Scholarship Coordination
- Familiarity with overseas education trends, university options, and regional regulatory requirements
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities to address student concerns and queries
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related fields (advanced degrees are a plus)
- Prior experience in international student counselling or education consultancy is an advantage
