Senior Counselor- Profile Building

Job Locations: Delhi, Chandigarh & Remote

Travel: Candidates should be open to travelling across India and internationally as per organisational requirements. 

As a Senior Counsellor – Profile Building, you'll become the mentor who helps high school and undergraduate students build intentional, high-impact profiles that go far beyond academics and reflect who they truly are. You'll guide students through their entire journey, combining strategy, execution, and mentorship to deliver outcomes that meet top global university expectations. 

Here's what your days will actually look like (and why you'll love them): 

● Work closely with students to uncover their interests, strengths, and aspirations, and translate them into structured, action-driven profile strategies. 

● Manage an independent portfolio of up to 30 students, guiding them end-to-end across profile building, academic planning, testing strategy, and overall positioning. 

● Conduct engaging one-on-one sessions that feel like meaningful mentoring conversations rather than routine check-ins. 

● Support CVs, portfolios, essays, college lists, recommendations, and interview preparation with a strong focus on storytelling and authenticity. 

● Ideate and mentor high-impact student projects while ensuring execution through clear milestones and outcomes. 

● Plan and drive student engagement through workshops, competitions, webinars, and life skills sessions, including psychometric inputs. 

● Research relevant opportunities, maintain structured documentation, and ensure consistent communication with students and parents. 

● Collaborate with internal teams and represent eduVelocity externally while continuously tracking progress and solving challenges. 

Who we're excited to meet: 

• You have 2+ years of experience in profile building, career counselling, student engagement, or similar roles. 
• Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or related fields (preferred) 
• Certification/Diploma in Counselling or related areas (preferred) 
• You understand Indian and/or global higher education ecosystems and can translate that knowledge into strong student strategies. 
•  You bring strong communication, storytelling, and student engagement skills. 
•  You're organised, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple student journeys with ownership and accountability. 
•  Bonus: you've been involved in activities, events, student programs, and enjoy building things from scratch.  

Work Schedule: 

● Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM 

● Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM 

Note: Employees will be required to work flexibly as per client needs. The same will be compensated through time-off. 

Training & Probation Period: 3 months 

Salary: Remuneration will be among the best in the industry and commensurate with the candidate's experience, expertise, and overall value addition.
