The candidate should have;
- 10+ years of experience in large projects and should have worked in major Cost Consulting firms for minimum of 5 years (mandatory).
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Strong knowledge in costing and vendors data.
- Acted as project lead with the team of assistant cost managers / quantity surveyors.
- Proficient with latest software / tools for the Cost Management / Quantity Surveying.
Precontract experience in;
- Budgeting/Cost Planning
- BOQ Preparation
- Costing
- Tender documentation including preparation of conditions of contract using FIDIC forms etc.
- Tender negotiation and finalisation
- LOA preparation and Contract documentation
Postcontract experience in;
- Projet Cost Monitoring & Reporting
- Cash Flow management
- Variation and Claims Management
- Interim and Final payment certifications
Qualification:
- Graduate in Civil Engineering
- Preference for MRICS candidates
