Job Summary
Financial Close/Reporting – Communicate month end deadlines to all functional areas and monitor status. Perform audits, reconciliations to ensure accuracy in books. Prepare individual, consolidated and divisional financials along with variance analysis as well as preparation of financial decks. Support Internal Audit during year end processes and during any external audits.
Audit & Compliance – Ensure compliance with GAAP and Pinnacle Group policies, contractual requirements, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including process controls and reporting
Customer Service – Maintain a service-focused team culture that delivers an excellent experience to internal departments as well as external parties
Budgeting & Planning – Support annual budgeting process through reporting, analysis, and modeling. Provide periodic reporting throughout the year on budget performance and variance.
SLAs & KPIs – Ensure attainment of all internal SLAs and KPIs related to closing and report on related metrics
Technology Footprint – Administer, support, and provide training on key technology used in closing process, including Workday and Concur
Project Mgmt. – Ad-hoc reports and carry out special projects and other duties as directed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
2+ years of prior experience performing month-end close process, financials reporting and analysis
Full Knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles and functions along with basic statistics
Strong problem-solving skills and intermediate skills with MS Excel
Advanced MS Excel Skills Are Preferred
Knowledge of Workday financials is preferred
