About the Role
Schbang is looking for a Freelance Senior Copywriter with a strong foundation in premium, beauty, fashion & luxury digital communication. This is an exclusive freelance contract where you will work closely with our creative teams on high-impact campaigns and content systems.
You will operate like a core team member, ideating, scripting, writing, and shaping brand language that is fresh, modern and culturally sharp. This role requires in-office collaboration, with flexibility on timings as long as client deliverables and team syncs are maintained.
What You'll Do
- Lead copy development for digital-first brand campaigns
- Create scripts, hooks & narratives for Instagram content & reels
- Write premium product stories, launch copy & brand messaging
- Craft captions, headlines, campaign lines & sharp content ideas
- Partner with art, creative & strategy teams for big campaign thinking
- Build and maintain brand voice & tone systems
- Review copy, elevate creative quality & ensure storytelling consistency
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in creative/digital advertising agencies
- Strong portfolio with beauty, fashion, cosmetics, lifestyle or luxury content
- Proven ability to write:
- Digital campaign copy
- Social-first ideas & scripts
- Crisp, elevated branded storytelling
- Bold, idea-led communication
- Understanding of aspirational tone, luxury voice & youth culture
- Ability to think conceptually beyond just writing
- Creative confidence + craft obsession + cultural intuition
Working Model
- Exclusive freelance contract, no parallel agency/client work
- Based at Schbang, Lower Parel office
- Flexible work hours on mutual agreement, as long as responsibilities are met
- Compensation to be finalized based on experience & scope of work
